Bishop Holt - May & June Update

I try to post and celebrate the TN churches we are privileged to visit. I noticed that I have not been getting that done each week, so I am going to try and catch up. Here we go. . .

• May 19 AM - Hartsville Church of God of Prophecy - I so enjoyed my visit to Hartsville. The church is in a beautiful setting and the people are wonderful. I really enjoyed fellowship with Pastor Glenn Creasy, his wife Donna and the family.

• May 19 PM - Greenridge Cogop - It was a blessing to visit Greenridge for the first time. The service was followed by a time of food and fellowship.

• May 26 - Turning Point Church - It was a blessing to visit with Dr. HE Cardin, his wife, Kimberly, and the Turning Point congregation. As always, I found a sweet spirit and wonderful people!

• June 2 - Trenton Church of God of Prophecy. Pastor Marilyn Vaughn led us in a special time of worship and fellowship. We were privileged to be joined by two Area Presbyters - Bishop Clayton Mahan and Bishop Joe Watson. In addition, several West TN pastors joined us for this special service. What a blessing!

• June 9 AM - Chapel Hill Church of God of Prophecy - It was a real blessing to be with Pastor Mike Thompson, his wife, and this wonderful people. There was such a sweet spirit and the church is near a place called "Holt's Corner." I felt right at home.

• June 9 PM - House on the Rock, Church of God of Prophecy, Pulaski, TN - What a wonderful time with Pastor David Malone and our Pulaski congregation! Sweet spirit and wonderful fellowship!

• June 23 - Waverly Church of God of Prophecy - Pastor Kelly Grigsby is being used by God in revitalizing this congregation. I feel like the Lord had a special word for these sweet people. We were blessed!

• June 30 AM - Pine Grove Church of God of Prophecy - It was wonderful to be on the Plateau with Bishop Rick Lyles and his wife, Linda. God is really working at Pine Grove!

• June 30 PM - Lawrence Chapel Church of God of Prophecy for a Plateau Area Service. We were able to join with our churches from this area for a special service. We were encouraged to hear about the good things going on in this area. The Lawrence Chapel Church served refreshments and hosted a great time of fellowship.

• June and early July is Youth Camp season in TN. We were blessed to visit in Senior, Teen, Pre-Teen, and Junior Camps. As a matter of fact, one of the best services that I have been in was last Tuesday in Junior Camp as the Holy Spirit moved among those children. We look forward to visiting Big Shot Camp next week.

I think that catches things up. We are thankful for all that God is doing in TN!
